It’s basically my way of glorifying violence, as well as giving in to the urges of my pre-pubescent inner child. Yeah, that’s how I roll.
For those of you that are unaware of “lesser” MMA organizations like Belator, such as myself, Bellator 18 was held last night. It was held in the sprawling uber-metropolis of Monroe Louisiana. Middleweight champion Hector Lombard, who had an unbeaten streak of 18, was scheduled to fight Paulo Filho. Instead, he fought former UFC fighter Jay Silva, though I wouldn’t really call it a fight. It was more of a date rape and lasted a mere 6 seconds. I lasted more than 6 seconds on prom night. The fact that I went and got drunk and then home alone is irrelevant.
