Howdy y’all. Just checking in here to fill you in on some stuff that’s going on right now. Life’s pretty busy right now, I know it’s that way for everyone, but without having a major sponsor or serious page views yet I can no longer afford to work, put in 25-30 hours a week here as well as time at other sites and then school. There’s also the fact that the NHL will be soon over and it’s months until the NFL starts up. So what does this mean? Well, we’re changing formats for the summer.
Oh, there will still be the random dick jokery and sports related shenanigans going on here, but there will be some other stuff going on as well. We were in the process of rolling out sister sites, in the vein of Uproxx or Gawker, that covered other areas such as Music, TV/Movies, Video Games, Technology as well as a Foodie/Boozie site. Those projects will be rolled into the current Gally Blog fold in order to increase our posting as well as build some support for the new sites until the time that they can be spun off.
So starting tomorrow, all your usual favorite features will be here, but you’ll find some new stuff that you may grow to love and some that you might hate, which we’ll probably get rid of. I hope you continue to stick with us during this transitional time period and keep telling your friends about us. TTFN
