This summer I was not planning on coming home from college, but a last minute change in plans ruined all that, and as a result, I’ve had to deal with my 17 year old sister, and her friends all summer. And I think I can safely say, teenage girls are the worst people on the planet, hands down.
If you’re a woman and you’re reading this, congratulations, you made it through the hardest years of your life without your parents killing you, and believe me, if it was legal to, they would have. But since it’s not, they seriously considered 1) Sending you away to a convent, or 2) Locking you away in the highest room in the tallest tower. But believe me, killing you was their first choice.
I know teenage boys aren’t much better, but at least they sometimes follow rules. Stupid emo kids and their girl pants.
Really, after thinking long and hard about it, the only good thing about teenage girls is that now and again they become so warped they end up in porn for the writers of this blogs enjoyment. (Kidding…I think…)
Teenage girls think they are never wrong, you cannot give them advice on anything, they think you’re old, stupid, and that they have the right answer for everything.
Actual quote from my sister arguing with my parents “I’m 17 years old, I’m mature enough to take care of myself.”
Uh, no. I’m 22, 3 years removed from high school, and I still feel I’m nowhere near capable of living on my own.
My favorite part of how dumb and naive teenage girls are, is how they feel no shame over anything they do or say, no matter the setting.
The other day I was at the mall, trying to find my mom a birthday present, when I overheard a teenage couple, roughly the same as my sister, in the midst of what sounded like a breakup. The girl was clearly upset, and the argument centered around both of them being drunk at a party, and neither liking the way the other behaved, when the girl dropped the best line I had ever heard in a breakup.
“I could fuck any guy I want, but I want you, why are you doing this to me?”
I heard that and just started laughing. I couldnt believe that anyone, let alone a teenage girl would say that in public, and act like it was nothing, and it didn’t bother her at all.
The most infuriating aspect about them, is the way they think there are no rules for them. They think that just because they might be cute they can do anything they want, and get away with it. No, act like a decent human being, and stop being a pain in the ass to everyone else. If it were legal to punch a teenage girl in the face, I would have done it many times by now.
If you’re a parent, and you have young girls, good luck. You’re going to need it. All those people in movies and TV shows who say they’re thankful for having boys? They weren’t joking. Needless to say, this summer cannot end soon enough.
Until then teenage girls, sit down, shut up, follow the rules, and stop ruining my summer.
