An incomplete preview of what’s going on tonight in the world of sports and entertainment. All times listed are EST.
Burn Notice: (USA-9PM) Tonight Michael meets a recently burned agent and teams up with him to help clear his name, all the while a drug dealer tries to exact revenge on Michael. Whatever. If the synopsis said the episode was going to be about painting grass and watching it dry as it grew, I’d still watch it.
So You Think You Can Dance: (Fox-9PM) Oh hey, it’s the top te… *fart noise*
NBA Finals: (ABC-9:01PM) Oh hey, we’re going to screw with your DVR by starting one minute late. It’s game four, Kobe something something.
Royal Pains: (USA-10PM) I’d give you the synopsis for tonight’s show but you’d all flame me for being gay. Whatever. It’s a medical show that straddles the line between serious and funny. It also has moments of outright MacGyverism.
Penn & Teller: Bullshit: (Showtime-10PM) Tonights episode is called cheerleaders. I think that’s all you need to know.
So just because it’s summer time, doesn’t mean that tV is dead, au contraire. Summer is when some of the most original/entertaining TV happens. This summer is no different and I’m going to enlighten you on some of the upcoming best after the jump
That’s right bitches. Season 3 of one of the greatest tv show’s that is not named The Wire, or The Sopranos, or something else, returns June 4th. If you’ve never watched it, I highly recommend that you do. It’s got action, comedy, romance, and Bruce “Don’t call me Ash” Campbell. Oh yeah and the soundtrack and eye candy is pretty decent as well.
If you need to see some episodes quick to get an idea if you like them, well rent or buy the DVD/BluRay’s. Or watch low res streaming editions here and then go buy them when you realize how awesome it is.
